I have a Nokia box for Freeview - and yes it has digital audio out. I bought
it on eBay. I live in an excellent coverage area for terrestrial digital but
I have a load of problems with picture breakup and digital audio glitches -
this only happens on non BBC channels though. I have never sussued whether
the box was faulty or this is a general Nokia problem. The audio from the
digital out is much better than the normal audio out so it's a shame. On
Dolby surround there is a huge difference in the overall clarity and effect
even though this is not a digitally encoded source.

Sounds like you're after a Nokia box....

...the mediamaster had a digital electrical output.

The problem was that the MediaMaster that I had didn't seem as sensitive
as my Pace receiver and also seemed more susceptible to picture breakup
but then again I live in an area where supposedly there is no reception!
