Thats very interesting. During September when they changed over I had
a
mamouth session of re-tuning my telly. I didn't want to do an
auto-tune. I
noticed that all the channels needed retuning except the ITV ones. I
though
the new transmission mode was going to apply to all the channels. But
now
thinking about it each RF channel could have its own encoding mode.
I get sound blips quite often on the radio stations like BBC 1Xtra
etc. The
sound/picture breakup for me on ITV channels is very rare at the moment
for
me.
