Subject: [ukha_d] Comfort control of heating.

I've just expanded Comfort to my first non-security application. I've wired
it via the 12v Outputs and some relays to control the Central Heating and
Hot Water. The relays are mounted in a normal 2gang surface box with a short
din rail. At the moment I still use the original controller for normal timed
operation but can get comfort (via IR&X10 or Dial-Up) to give an extra hour
when needed. ( imay move to using comfort for all timings later)

  Some pics here...

The existing installation of controller and wiring center was messy - at
some point I may redo it all to be neater as I dislike all the visible
cables with chunks out of the plaster. The relays have visual indicators but
they're hard to see so I think I may add some LEDs aswell. Pictures were
taken before I added the control wires to Comfort but thats just an 8-core
alarm style cable out of the relay box and up into the loft.

Turning it on from the Pronto in the lounge is so much easier than walking
all the way upstairs to the airing cupboard ;-)

  Dean
