They lent me a cable (actually a more expensive one apparently). It has
quite a small diameter with an overall sleeving in what appears to be
some kind of PTFE clear plastic. The quality seems very good. I'm not
too interested in size though as the cables will go through the wall and
be hidden.

I've asked Keith D about his custom RGB Kat5 units - I'd possibly like
to use these but with all this talk about ultra high quality cable,
wondered how good the quality would be (with interconnects at each end -
may also end up more expensive going the Kat5 route?). Anyone use the
custom RGB Kat5? (Keith - if you read this, I was going to ask about
this directly anyway).

Paul.

For three cores Paul I actually paid around 100 quid including
terminations (phono -> BNC) for a cable which retailed at 200 quid -
make sure that whatever you buy is a high bandwidth cable - each core
should be about the same diameter as CT100 coax.
