CAT5 with custom KAT5 modules (But don't ask Keith for them until he's
finished my last Svideo pair :-))

That's up to you mate - some ppl really really notice the difference between
the formats, others don't and/or don't really care.....
I would _like_ to run RGB to my projector, but I settled for svideo because
less hassle and crucially, both my AV amp nor the forthcoming KAT5 switcher
are intended to be used with svideo or composite signals.  I'm sure a bit of
faffing with the switcher would give you the output you need, given it's
ultimate flexibility (!), but it's debut is still anybody's guess, and in
the meantime, my amp does not support rgb/component switching anyway......

Basically, if it really bothers you, then you should go with component but
you really should do an a/b comparison to see if it is actually worth the
effort.....

Either way, KAT5 is your man.....
