Yes I've seen one, and it is shit. I wouldn't venture an opinion if I
hadn't seen it. Ask yourself a question. Why is the LG selling at a
price equivalent to most panels 10 inches smaller?

If it was as good as the competition then their prices would have to
fall to compensate. In this world of transparent pricing there are very
few true "bargains" to be had.

If you seek one out to view don't go to Currys, Dixons as the like, as
they are likely to have been taken out of the box and not properly
calibrated. Generally the factory settings have the contrast and
brightness set way too high - which gives a "wow" factor in the shop,
but means the low level details will be washed out. Look at the black
breastplates in the coliseum scenes in gladiator. There's a wealth of
detail in there that you'll miss on a badly set up plasma, TV or
projector. It is also pretty fatiguing to watch a screen for a long
period with the wick turned up that high.
