I spent a lot of time looking around for a decent DECT phone - I bought
3 of the BT Diverse 4000 executive handsets (the 4016 etc is just the
same handset with different base options). I find them really good -
great menu/display etc and 200 memory phone book that you can transfer
between handsets.



I'd recommend them.

Ok, I give in... It *is* a big pile of very runny steaming sh1te...  In
fact, it is so bad, SWMBO wants to replace it sooner rather than later,
even
though we only had it for a few years.  If anyone can point me towards a
*decent* DECT handset with answerphone, CID and phonebook for at least
50
numbers, I can earn some brownie points again ;-)
