Mans First Projector

A friend is looking for a projector, having been impressed with my MT1
He's not in the know, but a bit wary of buying 2nd hand unless it is a
"reputable" source as he doesn't want to end up with something
ne=
ar the end
of it's life.

Budget is about =A31k, so not a lot to play with really, though something

achievable.
Sources?  Recommendations at that price?  
Or should I sell him mine and upgrade? :-)
