Well a single KAT5 pair will get s-video and stereo (including DPL)
between two places, so you could use just that. You can also daisy
chain multiple (not sure how many) KAT5 receivers, so you can easily
get the same picture (and stereo sound) to multiple locations along
KAT5.

I am going a stage further by having the dvd changer and pre-amp in
node zero and then 5 channel power amps and sub woofers in the
lounge. I will use various KAT5 units as follows:

4-way audio pair (special order from Keith should be arriving soon)
to carry rear left, rear right, centre and sub signals.
Normal s-video + stereo transmitter carrying front left, front right
and picture
Pair of s-video + stereo receivers to take front stereo to the power
amp and video to the projector and plasma.

The end result will be a lounge that only has speakers, power amps,
plasma and projector. There will be no source equipment, no control
equipment and no media in the lounge. All control will be through an
ePOD running HomeAutomator and possibly a basic IR remote channeled
through Firm.

Regards

Graham

P.S. let me know if you do want one of these changers.
