Steve, I would *love* to see a Linux based open-tivo. problem always seems<= BR> to be vid capture drivers :(

point me the way of the light!! :)

No one for linux has piped up yet :P
I know tivo runs linux but...
Anyway, Linux can run just like a tivo with a  little configuration of=
choice software and the like, plus if you know c programming you can change=
everything to your exact needs (I didnt see any need to do this with my
theorised and researched config), I have recently fdisked the wrong
harddrive and as such dont have alist of the software and hardware
requirements but I am SURE you can do it for under the price of =A3400. (I<= BR> will on a week off starting june 3rd be able to compile the list/procedure<= BR> for doing this again) PLUS it can output an mpeg stream to any pc on the network :P
