Mine came from Dixons fairly recently, and I'm guessing it's one of the
older models since it's being picked up on Monday so they can fix the
Nicam
reception for me. Hopefully it won't be away for long.

You can tell the relative age of your machice from parts of the serial
number. Might be worth comparing your with someone elses that works
to see
if this is particular to older ones or newer ones?
