Mark,

Simple to use, record one side while watching or pausing another, no loss
in picture quality, has always worked (well mostly). For Sky channels it's
excellent but it has missed the end of ITV1 programmes so SWMBO uses tape
for those. I'm going to use a Tivo for recording BBC1/BBC2/ITV1/CH4 and
keep the Sky + for Sky channels, this way I don't get all the wifes crap on
my Sky + ;-)
