it works, because people use it that way, but I called TiVo Support and
they
told me that it's not supported. In other words, if it works, works, but
they
cannot guarantee.
I
planned to buy TiVo, and I have ADSL so no "normal" analogue
line.
Therefore, their response was not much helpful when you plan to
spend
£400-500 quid in total and they tell you that they cannot guarantee
that it will
work and they cannot support it.

What's wrong with the analogue part of an ADSL line?
Surely

works with one just as a sky box
does?
