TiVo
Andy,
I suppose that picture quality depends on
your video card as well, so maybe it's not only software to blame.
I have TV tuner card Hauppauge WinTV go and
allegedly Hauppauge is one of the best brands in that, but I'm not happy
with the picture quality on PC.
Therefore, I don't even try to pass such
image to TV. Once I get that fixed the way I like, I'll try watching it
back on TV.

I'd agree
with Mark, personally I'd like Showshifter to be renamed to
Sh*tstabber
.. it's kak (picture quality, interface, stupid audio
switching
crap).. If I could get Tivo here in NL I'd be down the
shops right
now getting one... unfortunately they only seem to think
that the US
and UK exist - even though Philips are Dutch ...I
wonder... has
anyone got a Philips Tivo? does it say made in Holland
on the
bottom? Would be a Pronto all over again!
Andy
