But is it changing your Sky box for you?  
Can you control it from an IR remote?
Can you record every Tomorrows World from now to never with a few
clicks?
Can you start watching back programs as you are recording them?
Can your Mrs use it - no let me rephrase that, does your Mrs LOVE using
it?
Does it record suggestions for you?
Is it silent?

I think I'm qualfied to answer this, I built a PC just to use for SS and
ran
it for months.  However, as has been well documented by a certain
Scotish
bloke, I'm afraid there is simple no comparrison between the two
systems.
TiVo every time.
