Stuart,
Why
you don't simply use existing yahoo Fuji group for messaging on your site.
Just
create all the necessary links and integrate two sites. You were offered to
become moderator of the group, and I beleive that everyone will be happy if
you
are willing to dedicate your spare time to this.
You
cen even set-up a new one if you like and be the owner. I don't know what
those
web based forums offer which yahoo already doesn't have. It seems that the
critical feature that people want (including me) is to receive messages via
e-mail, not via web. Web is useful when you need quick access and you don't
have
mail client available, but for everyday use, with high volume of messages -
sheer pain.
It
seems that nobody found anything like that for free, so yahoo is still the
only
option.
Cheers,
Nik

Does look nice, but does anybody know why certain sites,
such
as this, seem to 'stall' my IE6 session. It'll load a few pages, but
eventually it just stops utterly. Whereas Netscape4 works
perfectly. I
tried to post a message but ... IE6 stopped.
There are several sites
on
the Internet I just can't access whatsoever, yet on the whole IE6 works
perfectly. Very odd. www.bt.com is one I have real problems with, the
page
never loading.
