Hi Anto,

Check out the Trust 804PCI 4 video capture card. Only works under 98 though
and the 2000/XP version is not due for another few months. SourceUK have
the
804PCI for around the 60 quid mark so this is a good buy.

Subject: [ukha_d] Wireless multicam survailence for PC

Hi,
I want to set up 3 or 4 cameras around the house.
(2 or 3 outside, 1 inside)
I can't really run cables so wireless would be the best bet.
(Walls in the way and PC may move to another room at some stage.)
I want to be able to capture and display all the cams at the same time
on my PC and view them over the internet.

I have been looking at the GeoVision GV-600
http://www.geovision.net/e/products.htm
available from
http://www.sicherheitsteam.de/shop/endkunde_int/docs/start.htm
for 450
euros.

Anyone used this card or can recommend another card for the PC?
Also, would it be possible to connect 4 Xcam2's to this system to get 4
live pictures simultaneously, or is there a better solution?

Ideally I would like to be able to view the output on my TV as well and
have remote / PC / PIR controlled pan and tilt on one or two cams but
this may be asking / costing too much!

Anyone got a similar set up??

Anto.
