Assuming this isn't possible (I have no idea) could you use some
application to terminate it perhaps?
There are several ways of doing this. I just downloaded the MS
scripting tool ScriptIt to set DigiGuide to start in the exact mode I
want it to. Windows already has a scripting mechanism in it based
on VBScript maybe? Not too sure as I've never used it.
Alternative suggestions to your main request I know, sorry.
