Ken,

I dont have a baby per se but I do manage 800 other babies that need
constant attention!  Being on overnight support gives me than enough
fun
when it comes to being woken up at odd times of the night.  whether a
pager
beeping is as bad as a baby crying is obviously debateable ;-)

Having the choice is nice though, being forced is a whole another
matter
and, its not the five hours that kills you, it's the getting up at odd
times that you are not used to.
