RE: Freezer Alarm
The only thing I can think of is to use a Dallas stat to detect a
change
in the temp but...DO NOT drill any holes in the freezer! If you do you
*will* get problems with condensation and a very likely insulation
failure which is non-repairable.
You could put a Dallas stat right at the bottom of the door and ask it
to send an alarm if the temp drops a couple of degrees below ambient.
