if it is steel construction you will be surprised what the ears will hold try it and see, that said I know that compaq servers come with mounting rails...I don't have any ideas on a supplier though.

I'm building a 1U rack mount server.  The drives aren't in it yet and
already it's a weighty wee bugger!  I can't imagine the "ears" will be able
to support this box on their own.  Do these generally sit on shelves then,
or is it standard practice to use rails or something?  Anyone got advice and
pics?
