My rears are mounted on spiked Custom Design stands. They're a
large hollow tube on metal top and bottom plates. I have 2 pairs in
fact, but the rears are 1m tall.

They were reviewed in a recent HiFi Choice I believe as there
was a top/bottom plate modification now available.
