Errr, yes ? ;-)

Turn the lights off, then you won't notice that your TV's aspect
ratio doesn't match that of the Director's vision !!!

I've no idea why some films are 2.35:1 and others 1.85:1 (and all
the other common ratios), they just are.

The thought of a picture with bits chopped off, either at the
top/bottom or the sides makes me wrinkle my noise. Err, was that
a Bewitched moment? :)
