Oh F**k not again...

The RU890 has been out of production for about a year ... the RU940 I am assured by Philips will be in production for at least another year...

I don't know where Andrew got his information from but it isn't what I was told by Philips.

(And I should be able to find out!)

Just saw this post by Andrew on the Comfort list so if you want a replacement you had better act fast...

This is to let you know that The Pronto RU890 and RU940 have been discontinued. This is quite a blow because their replacement ProntoNeo has been built to a price and is not as good as the trusty old pronto RU's. Don't be deceived by it's good looks, thats the 'only' improvement, It can't even use your old ccf files so you have to start programming from scratch.

Stocks in the UK are probably down to the last 100 and then it's goodbye.

Do I want to?

No...

Will I?

Yes...

Just don't be in a rush for it as I have shitloads on my todo list
already! (Stuart Poulton I do remember!)
