Ahh

Have you programed the DVD to output on RGB rather than S-Video, I had to change this on mine.

This is driving me nuts.

If take the s-video out from the dvd and put it into the s-video->scart adapter at the kat5 tx

I get a cool signal on the other side (projector) BUT if I take the rgb output of the dvd

Put that into the rgb->svideo convertor and then into the kat5

I get a black&white picture at the projector !

Sorry I will re-phrase that

The lead you have between the rgbsvideo convertor and kat5 is a s-video to scart ?

The adaptor switch should be set to input at the converter end, my scart lead is just a standard .5 mtr lead between the RGB/S-Vid converter and the KAT5 unit.

It has a switch on the adapter

Do you think it could be the adapter ? what is the scart lead you have

s-video to rgb ?

Mine works OK like this but I have a scart lead between the converter and KAT5, obvious I know but the scart adaptors are the right way round i.e. input/output.

I have an ntl pace digi box di4000n

It is outputting rgb – the problem is my projector takes s-video

So I bought a rgbsvideo convertot

Works a dream and I get a picture from the ntl on the projector – great !

BUT

When I then bring in my kat5 distribution hell happens J

I send the ntl to the rgbsvideo convertor and then the take the

s-video put into one of these s-video to scart breakout adaptors

and I get a picture on the other end BUT it is poor quality and

has a white static line which moves horizontally down the

screen.

Anyone help please
