Just to share with fellow Tivo Owners

Installed TurboNet in my TiVo over the lunch hour – the joys of working from home. Install was a breeze except for getting that damm lid off!

Ping OK

Telnet OK

FTP OK

Downloaded and installed TivoWeb. Ran it up and bingo – web access to all the screens of my TiVo – Now Showing, Season Passes, the lot. I’ve also discovered that you can edit the program information and it is displayed from the TV i.e. previously one program was Titled “Horizon” now it is called “Horizon – A6 Murder”. Now I’ll be able to maintaining and organise my rapidly expanding Now Playing list (120GB Drive already in). If I find out any more gems (or pitfalls) I’ll keep you posted.

Deep Joy!

Don
