Welcome aboard , have you looked at
the
Clispal C bus system. Its suppose to be good but I would imagine it would
be
very expensive. Not keen on the X10 path ?.

any prices info (apart from evaluation
kit)? I will hit them up

more info but thought I'd ask around first.
They claim
"inexpensive" of course, however that is always a relative
term,
especially
with the NZ dollar !
