Re: Linet Network Nodes

Hi Shane
Welcome aboard , have you looked at the Clispal C bus system. Its suppose to be good but I would imagine it would be very expensive. Not keen on the X10 path ?.

Subject: [ukha_d] Linet Network Nodes

Hi.  My name is Shane Harrison from downunder NZ.  A newbie, building a
house, technical background, got interested in HA,  seems close to an
all consuming activity already, leaving head in the sand re. the real
costs, absolutely loving it.... sound familiar ?

Been looking at hardwired systems seriously.  Came across Linet nodes
from Finland http://www.linet-network.com.  Searched archives and found
that Roger Shingler had mentioned it briefly.  Anyone looked at it more
closely since ? Anyone have any  prices info (apart from evaluation
kit)? I will hit them up for more info but thought I'd ask around first.

They claim "inexpensive" of course, however that is always a relative
term, especially with the NZ dollar !

Cheers
Shane
