RE: New, silly project?



The concept has recently become quite popular in the corporate server space.
They're commonly known as "blade" servers, - using this strategy allows more
servers per rack than even the slim 1U server cases does. A blade rack might
typically be 6U high, but may house up to 14 servers... All the server
"blades" will share redundant power supplies, fans, and various other bits
to save space.
