Re: X10-to-Infrared, for controlling your entertainment system

Robert,

Option 3 is the one I'm working towards, not saying it's the best - but it's
fun working on it!

I've canabilised a marmitek rf/ir remote for it's rf transmitter, and hooked
it up to a com port on my ha pc.
This sends the ir directly as rf to all the powermids in range (hopefully
not next door) so it can control all ir equipment.
I'm planning to add the same to a pronto, and canabilise a pyramid to create
an rf receiver for the ha pc.

Obviously, a lot of the ir commands could go straight from pronto to
pyramids (via rf) which prevents any delays in volume changes etc.
Other commands from the pronto could be picked up by the ha pc to action x10
commands etc.

I don't know homeseer, so don't know if this kind of setup could be hooked
into it.

Regards
Tony T

Option 3:
- Use a pair of Powermids, one in Node0, one in (A), but how to get
signal from (B) to Node0 ?? Hence, I'm thinking X10 and Homeseer
