Jammy goit!. I doubt anything on the level of HA most people have these days wouldn't require servers of this spec. you could run multiple virtual servers on em to seperate jobs.
 
Or give one of em to me ;-)
 
Would guess quite high power & hence heat production. An option would be to underclock to give a low power but still good spec machine. Don't know how easy that is on a xeon.

I found a spare server today, underneath a desk...
 
It turned out to be a Quad Xeon, with a Gig of RAM ;-)

Even better, there's a second one, which I'd, erm, sort of been using as a desk extension to keep papers on :-)
 
What's a _GOOD_ use for these in a HA sense, since I may be able to acquire them cheaply :-) :-)
