Steve,

if you search the ukha archive for irda at http://www.ukha-archive.com/
(messages during the last 2 months) you should find most of what you
require.
If you need any of the VB code, let me know.
It's important that the OS doesn't know that the irda port IS irda....

Were their any instructions anywhere detailing how to learn the codes and
then retransmit them.  Sorry if this is a dumb question but I haven't even
needed to use the IRDA port before.  Consequently I know diddley squat
about it.
