It's a good price, but there are easily available 6500mcd White leds, and
some of the newer process ones seem to fall in the 10,000-12,000mcd range.

If you can get around 18 times the brightness in a single package, that
would seem worth waiting for.

The white ones are generally brighter, but these were rated at 650mcd
typical I think, which is about 10% of the better ones!  We should certainly
aim for over 4000mcd, IMO.  Anyone know how bright a 100W filament light is?
