Not free, or open source but the AT&T voices are really good, almost too realistic - it starts getting a little spooky.

I used to have Misterhouse read the weather out in the morning, but the Mrs
didn't like it, so I switched it off.

I think it was the voice that freaked her out. I was using the default
Festival voice, but does anyone know any better open source/free ones?
