The best delay I have got down to is 0.02 seconds, as per a write up on
Automated Home some time ago.
I think this delay needs to be kept to a minimum because it delays all
HV functions/actions - I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, after much playing over the weekend I ended up with the same value.
I'm now trying to solve other problems. Hope it makes up for this in
it's
stability :-)
