RE: Re: NEXT TIME? (WAS First pics of London Meet 2002)

Stuart and I met over the weekend and we were talking about meeting up with
some people off the list - good to talk shop and stimulate the mind (esp
over pizza etc).

My new office/warehouse (which I am converting) is in Rossendale which is
20 minutes from Manchester city centre, and 5 minutes from the NW motorway
network.

I would be very pleased to host a Northern meet there (you can see pics at
www.smgsytems.co.uk/umar) at anytime up to middle of July. That is the date
I hope builders will come and start knocking holes up into the walls and
building partitions.

Stuart said we could combine the meet with a cablefest, but I dont have a
timescale for the build and it would be more difficult to arrange. Maybe we
could get some volunteers for the cabling - any offers ?

There is a pub within 100 yards, parking for loads and loads of cars, and
you could kip down overnight if you brought a sleeping bag or there are
some b&bs - but not nearby. Stuart will tell you about the pizzas, and
there a couple of decent curry houses nearby - missus is a dab hand but she
might object if there;s loads of us.

There is plenty of space for demos etc - no seating or anything but we
could arrange that between ourselves.

Anyone up for it ?
