The exact position of the USB lead also makes a huge difference to what's
picked
up. I'm in Colchester, and after I tidied up my cabling, I lost all
bar one of
the MUX's. Once I restored the USB cable to precariously dangling
under the
desk, all 4 were back (including 2 London ones that I' not supposed to be
able
to get).
BTW, working on XP (with via chipset) with DABBAR just fine, using v1.2 of
the
Psion install proggy and W2K drivers.
The wf is typical Psion - great concept, poorly marketed, poorly supported
(by
Psion) and overall a bit flaky, but probably worth the hassle!

No, but I'm in Leicester and installed my WF last night. Reception
seems
better if I just place the device horizontally on top of the sofa than
on
the wall!
I can get a strength of 3-4. Picking up D1 and BBC MUXs but no local
stations?! Might try some different software over the weekend.....
