are you going to power this from the normal lighting circuits
or run it from an independent source?

BTW, you can get fully green energy now from unit[e], so
no need for your own watermill  ;-)

Indeed they are, but they prove the principal.  I am going to mount them
every foot or so in the picture rail, I think, but I don't know how well
that'll illuminate the room.  I'll let you know when it's done!  As far as
replacing lights in the ceiling goes, you'd need a lot of LEDs to do that.
Maybe if you had a cluster of them the size of a light bulb, it may give
good results.  I'll hack up a few LED sockets when I get my LEDs and let you
know.
