In some cases there is little option since many drivers seem unable to
read the Highway Code and move over! Even with the flashing headlights
behind them!

Until recently I could do between 30 and 60 *thousand* miles a year and
many of the drivers on the road simply haven't got a clue what they are
about, nowhere shows this up more than on the motorway and some
behaviour is just sickening at times. I have even seen drivers who
refuse to pull over when an ambulance screams up behind then lights and
sirens blazing.

Apart from that, after driving in the States extensively, it works on
the freeways there with no real problems, other than the odd shooting in
California of course ;-) But then that's a symptom of road-rage and
those crazy Yanks and their guns rather than the system itself.

So no, I do not have a problem with undertaking, I do it regularly and I
freely admit it, even the police seem to have a very lax attitude
towards it or they just ignore it.
