What I do is I come up behind the person who's in the wrong lane, and give them a long flash of my headlights when I'm about 100ft behind them (as the police recommend!)

Normally works... most people will get out of the way of a car which flashes them but makes no attempt to be aggresive - presumably they think I'm a police driver ;-)

Sorry, but undertaking is unbelievably dangerous. Just because person A
is not obeying the rules of the road does not give person B the right to
break the law.

I assume that the person you are undertaking is sitting in the outside
lane and going around 70 MPH? You break the law by undertaking and you
also break the law by speeding. And to cap it all off, you create the
chance of a serious accident.

Is it really worth it to gain an extra few seconds?
