I have got Broadband, NTL, but would not know where to start with
anything like this.

I assume I create a web site on the NTL server and then upload to that?
and so ends my knowledge on the subject.

I am running a web server, HV, but there are a few sites I work on that
I am unable to reach my home due to the firewalls being locked down.

I also assume I would not want the average joe to access my server?
