Err, no it isn't. In my younger wilder days, I owned a string of hot
hatches, 205GTIs, 309GTIs, Renault 5 Turbos, etc. which I loved to drive. I
commuted to work (personal best 33K miles in a year), but the number on
numbskulls out on the road threatening to kill themselves (and me in the
process), the time it takes to get anywhere these days, the number of speed
cams threatening to remove my license (and the contents of my back account),
along with an increased sense of morality since my daughter was born, have
destroyed any enjoyment I get from driving.

So, I now drive a 1.1 Ford Fiesta, which gets me from A to B. But only at
weekends because we moved and now my wife cycles to work and I walk. If want
excitement, I surf the net/read UKHA and BUY MORE TOYS! :)

Which don't cost as much (generally), don't depriciate and don't cost
****ing fortune to insure!
