What does this virus do?

This is one of the fastest spreading viruses we have seen to date. W32.Klez and its variants are spreading more quickly than most other viruses that Symantec Security Response has tracked. The virus spreads by sending itself as an attachment to e-mail addresses in the Windows address book, the ICQ database and local files and exploits an old vulnerability in Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express to execute itself when the user opens of even previews the message. The worm will attempt to disable virus scanners and remove the startup registry keys. Users should update their virus definitions and Microsoft security patches to prevent infection. Symantec have released a virus definition to protect against this virus.
