I must admit I avoid using that address, 192.168.0.1, as it's easy
for somebody else to use it too, thus causing a conflict if they
ever plug into your network.

Might not happen in your case of course, but it does regularly for
me, so I picked a number at the other end of the scale, figuring it
to be less likely to be picked, but still easily remembered.
