Hi Andy

You can read up a device I am building at
http://www.mollyology.com/WebPages/Home/Index.htm then projects and IR
Extender. I am trying to build exactly (within reason) what you are after
but I am afraid it is a wee way off yet.

Least your ITV digital control problems have been 95% solved by recent
events ;-))

Without spending too much your solution is probably going to be homemade and
not ideal.
