Archive search thing is crap...grumble grumble. Anyway, someone was
asking a while back about how to connect their mobile to their fixed
line phone system so that incoming calls to the mobile caused the
fixed line to ring.
I stumbled across this device from Siemens whilst looking for
something completely different.
Wouldn't it be nice to have only one telephone ringing in the house?
Or to be able to use your home-based fixed net telephone to make and
answer GSM calls cost-effectively while your mobile phone charges its
battery?
* Mobile calls diverted free of charge to home phone.
* When using your fixed net phone for GSM calls just dial 0. For
fixed net calls predial 1.
* Choose the most cost-effective rate for an outgoing call (GSM /
fixed line network).
* Uninterrupted mobile phone charging.
* Scaleable system. To connect additional mobile phones, more
HomeStations can be added. All GSM calls will be routed to one fixed
net phone.
* The HomeStation can also be plugged into the analogue line of an
ISDN PBX (private branch exchange).
* Toggle between lines (GSM / fixed line network).
* Supports fixed line features (i.e. call charge pulse, fax, modem to
56k, CLIP / CLIR and DTMF).
* Supports all Siemens fixed net phones and all telephone brands in
compliance with the European Standard.
* Country variants: UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark,
Norway/Finland
