RE: Homevision and web servers

Andy,

The HomeVision web interface is the weak underbelly of an otherwise great product.

What I _used_ to do was use some hand-written VB in a CGI-script, that issued commands down the serial interface in the (well-documented) format.

What I _now_ do, at least for the remains of my 30-day trial, is use HomeSeer, (with the HomeVision control module) which not only has a better web interface built in but also exposes a decent (Microsofty) object model for more complex control.

Regards,

Mark

For those with homevision - how does one go about configuring
the UI for the web server interface? Is it configurable or can you
build web pages on a PC that then in turn controls it?
