Hmm... I'll have to give my hoover a go on an AM12 & try this out... but the
hoover is just an example, - perhaps it might be an iron (I've left for work
in the morning and left the iron on before!) - actually, I once came in late
at night, put the oven on to cook pizza, forgot about it, went to bed, got
up the next morning, went to work, came home the following evening, thought
"goodness, the house seems very warm..." only THEN to notice my somewhat
charred supper STILL in the oven which was STILL on at 200 degrees!! (I
didn't eat it!)

Fair do's, it *is* ludicrously expensive, but I live in hope that these
modules will displace the previous generation that we all despise so much,
and eventually move into their price bracket...

LOL!!

But not for twice the price eh?

Ahhh, but.... you're forgetting that the micromodule transmits its status
whenever it changes... (actually, Ant, - did you test local control? - does
it have this feature, and *does* it transmit it's new status when local
control changes it?) - Assuming that it does, if the little brat^H^H^H^H
darling tries this trick, your HA controller would see the "ON" X10 signal
>from you could have some fun with that, - let him/her carry on watching for a
couple of minutes, just long enough to get interested in something, and then
turn it off!! LOL!
