There is an excuse not to, it will cost them money to do it. be it
development time for the PCB, changes in the construction & fabrication plant
oe just the costs of getting it re-CE certified (if they have to)

I guess a lot will depend on how succesfull these AWM10's are. If they sell
well X10=Europe may then decide they need to add features to their unit in
order to take back some of their market share (which they have a monopoly on
