Hmm.... Good thinking batman....

Not much room inside an iron though... :(

I don't mind a plug that is slightly larger than a normal plug, I already
have several of these anyway (plug with buzzer in on the freezer, plug with
RCD built-in etc.) as long as it's not going to stupid proportions, and I
kinda hoped that given the very small size of these modules, with some of
the superfluous bits removed, it might be realistic to make a plugtop out of
them.

Oh, and I don't envisage doing this as a DIY job!! - I was more thinking
along the lines of suggesting/encouraging the manufacturer to do it....
