That makes good sense to me - was thinking DC rather than AC outputs
for

The
two outputs would not be syncronised to each other and would short out.
Even if
the same oscillator was running both UPS's there would be slight component
differences that would cause thew output voltages to be slightly different.
This
would mean one unit would do all the work.
To
increase the running time, look at connecting additional or bigger
batteries to
the UPS.
